Quick: The treatment at our 5* Google rated Chessington dental practice only lasts less than 20 minutes and is suitable for men and women. The treatment is injected using fine needles, directly beneath the skin at 10 injection points in each area.
After 3 to 4 weeks the skin quality will be visibly improved with an increased moisture balance, reduced fine lines and improved skin elasticity.
Pain free: You should not need any pain relief cream as the treatment is virtually pain-free.

Profhilo is a slow-release hyaluronic acid (HA) which is strategically placed into your skin (face and body) and gradually disperses into your tissue, where you will be able to see and feel the results almost instantaneously.
This new stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid for treating skin laxity (sagging) has one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available which helps to not only boost and hydrate the skin but also improve its elasticity, leading to firmer, less saggy skin.

Although most people will be able to see and feel the results almost instantaneously, you should expect to see the maximum results after your second treatment which is usually one month following the initial treatment.
Longevity varies between individuals, but results are expected to last for approximately 6 months to 12 months.

Although most dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, Profhilo is not a dermal filler. As a stabilised product Profhilo stays in the skin for around 28 days.
During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by the slow release of hyaluronic acid.
This stimulation results in significant skin tissue improvement in terms of tightening and lifting.

Compared to many other facial injection treatments Profhilo is extremely problem free, however in rare cases there may be some temporary minor swelling or bruising.

You should be able to return to normal 'light' daily activities immediately after Profhilo treatment. However after the first day after treatment we recommend not doing any sports or physical activities.
Over the first few days we also recommend no sauna or steamy bath and minimise your exposure to UV rays and sunlight.
